Since the Program started in 2013, Backpack Buddy has shipped over 15,000 boxes of nutritional, personal care, informative, and educational items to Putnam County Students. Families may now sign-up for the free Summer 2021 Backpack Buddy Meal Box Program. Summer 'Backpack' Meal Boxes will be mailed to homes in unmarked boxes at various times throughout the summer. Deliveries will start in the middle of June and will continue until the start of the new school year. Interested applicants should complete the application form linked below for the Putnam Area Backpack Buddy. The deadline for application completion is April 26th.
